This is a combo strawbale and glass-wall /wood- framed house. I like the glass-rich side and Strawbale makes very cozy walls in which to deep-set windows. A version of this would make a great north kitchen. Bales are encased in cement lime or earthen plaster 1 inch thick on either side. (Works fine in Orillia, ON.)
