Similar to our plan - love the interior detail. Ceiling would have to be higher - perhaps increase the height of transom window and distance between - similar to Renaissance Rumford photo.
Love the shelf next to the fireplace and the beam detail.
This is the exterior look we love - avoiding the high roofline of the other design. The arch would be only on the exterior - with flat ceilings inside. If this is still too expensive - how about a modern prairie roofline?
