I agree with Colourhappy- if you paint the walls white the room will still have an orange feel because of the cabinets and tiles. If you can put down a lino and change the wall tiles it will make a difference. I agree that removing the wall cabinets will also help widen the room.
Consider a neutral colour that has a green quality to calm down the orange.
