12.Ok, there are a lot of elements here that I don't love and don't think will work for our kitchen, BUT there's something about this kitchen that I love as a whole. I can't quite put my finger on it just yet...But I do think that I like the darker bottom. I love that turquoise island (even though I do not think we want a carbon copy in ours), and the runner and the light. And I like the hanging pot rack that's being used for incense burners... (it's about as country kitchen as I'll go, but it also feels professional and legit). I can't really see the wall of cabinets on the left, but I like it, and I think that's what you envision for the pantry area re-haul. This kitchen reminds me that I do NOT want round cabinet knobs (unless they are of the Anthropologie ilk)

Too much open shelving = cleaning nightmare (even though we have a cleaning crew). Plus I just envision so many broken items with the kids and dog. But I do agree that open shelving is something I would like to incorporate

Pretty meh about this. Too white and sterile. But I do love the chairs. I saw these on CB2 and almost got them for our kitchen, but at the time, they weren't what we were looking for.

Oh no. Hate it ALL. Except for the farmhouse island on wheels. I love that, but that's not going to work in our kitchen.

This is WAY too Florida bungalow for me. But I like some of the details: the parakeet blinds! the hidden woven basket; the pillow on the white chair. (Hate the pillows on the bench: hot pink (and pink in general) is a hell no in my book. And the snakeskin/cameo patterns are suspect)

The mosaic above the range and the cabinet doors are too country kitchen for me. And the pendants are wimpy and small and not beautiful. I also hate the island: the lop-sided ledge, the shape, the panelling. BUT I like the overall feel of the space.

It's clean and simple. I could do it. Too much white though.

Layout and shapes are a little meh for me. Too symmetrical and aligned in nice boxes, but I like the color scheme of blues, grey, white, neutrals, and I like the shiny textured side tables
