great idea (maybe make it a tad bigger) for 'desk' space in mudroom to hold keys, phones, etc. but not have a big bulky desk

love the open 'island' idea. Could I put that on one wall in the mudroom to use for folding or groceries, etc. put the dog bowl under it with installed pet dish?
