funky tile fail... too geometric and if it is going to stop at a shelf, the shelf should have more umph. These pendants are turrible as well... and those bar stools look like a punshinment.

This photo is a great example of a space that has similar characteristics to my list of favorite things but the style is completely off. I love copper and grey with a dark wood accent. I even love light/white subway tile with dark grout... But the copper is too shiny and pink. The wood shelves are way to thin and symmetrical. The grey is too light and the white is too white. I want a cozier feel with more color and uniqueness.

Horrible in so many ways. What's happening with that fireplace? Don't like rounded stones or antlers. Way too few windows, conflicting styles of wood, overstuffed furniture and drapes. This looks like dust mite city!!

Fireplace is close to the ground with no protection in front or a bench seat. I prefer it to be elevated.

Gross!! I'd definitely like to think about a screen system that could be lowered as needed via wall switch. But it must look good when closed and completely hidden when open.

Did this person have trouble with geometry? Beams for beams sake only work if everything aligns correctly! All I can see here is wasted space and a complete lack of windows. What's the point of having a 2 story open space if it is not made of windows?

Fail. But, I like the concept. Wouldn't it be cool if the track went all the way across the top and the barn doors served as window coverings when open? That could also be a cool way to hide the Murphy bed... barn doors open to block windows when bed is down.
