Stuff I Hate
This photo is a great example of a space that has similar characteristics to my list of favorite things but the style is completely off. I love copper and grey with a dark wood accent. I even love light/white subway tile with dark grout... But the copper is too shiny and pink. The wood shelves are way to thin and symmetrical. The grey is too light and the white is too white. I want a cozier feel with more color and uniqueness.
Galley kitchens
Two islands and glass countertops, crazy backsplash
Open shelving stresses me out. I don't even want uppers or at least not many. Weird place for the fridge as well.
I don't like gold or warm colors in general. Cool neutrals are much more my pallet
Too dark, no natural light. Cabinets are too rectangular and the lighting beneath makes it look like a hotel. I get that those could be put on a motion sensor at night so when you are walking to the bathroom in the dark, you don't trip. And I'm cool with that. But this looks like it's on as a part of the design and yuck. Shame to have a cool slant to the ceiling but not highlight it with a window/skylight/cool light fixture(s).
Patterned wallpaper and busy floor. Pick one. I actually kinda like the floors. I hate wallpaper in general.
Just about everything... the wallpaper pattern clashes with the floor, the mat and even the turrible teardrop mirror. Barf.
Just Say No to animal prints
Too antique-y!
Too modern
Too modern
Literally... I hate everything here.
funky tile fail... too geometric and if it is going to stop at a shelf, the shelf should have more umph. These pendants are turrible as well... and those bar stools look like a punshinment.
