The thought of the desert takes our mind far away, in a world made of sand, heat and sinuous dunes that are lost at first sight, endless and never equal to themselves. The shiny brass body of the lamp reflects everything by modifying it and adapting it to its shapes. It evokes the imaginary desert, the fascinating and magical place of oases and mirages that we find in the thickness of the glass embellished with its materiality.

This kitchen was specifically designed for a beautiful 1930’s period property. The client’s conversion of two separate rooms into one and extension to the rear transformed the living space into a luxurious open plan area that is flooded with light. The Smarthaus Team recommended a fresh, bright colour palette of light greys and white for doors, splashbacks and worksurfaces which would work beautifully with the lovely natural wood of the original internal doors.
