First Floors

Visited this company late last year and ordered a carpet for our stairs and hallway and have now ordered a kitchen floor from Moduleo. Great staff, lovely large showroom and the experience from start to finish was faultless. Have no hesitation in recommending.

Carpets fitted in new home in Giffnock. Quality of service and product has been exceptional from start to finish (as it has been on the numerous occasions we have used them over the years). Cannot recommend highly enough.

Focus on the facts; First Floors of Giffnock Glasgow fitted a nice wooden floor. However, during the installation their fitter, whilst cutting material on top of a carpet with a blade, managed to cut right through to the carpet leaving a 2 foot slit. Company does not admit responsibility and have not offered to repair. Cannot recommend this company given my experience.

I visited First Floors as I wanted to replace my stairs carpet which had become very worn, and I had the original Victorian floorboards throughout my downstairs. The showroom was very welcoming, and surprisingly large at the back. I was really impressed with the wide range of products available. I opted for an engineered herringbone in oak for the downstairs rooms and a natural fibre carpet upstairs and throughout my upstairs hallway. The service was excellent, I was offered a coffee whilst browsing and the staff were helpful without being pushy, plus the price was very competitive. My fitting date was arrange within just a few days and the fitters who carried out the installation were very professional and friendly. I'm thrilled with the results and wouldn't hesitate to recommend First Floors.

I have used First Floors for a number of years, most recently in Sept 2015. They have a very wide range of products and the staff are welcoming and have a wealth of knowledge. I was given advice regarding the types of products I should look at given the requirements that I have (hall and family room so will see a lot of traffic and needs to stand up to 2 teenagers and a dog). It was no problem for me to take samples home, and these were actually dropped off by the owner. We finally settled on a solid wood floor. The quote was very competitive, fitting and delivery were on the day and time indicated. The fitters were very pleasant, well mannered and were immaculate in tidying up. There was a large sofa that could not be moved out of the room and it was no problem for them to work around that. We have had previous experience of fitters from other companies who flatly refused to do anything unless the room was completely cleared. The guys even helped move a couple of pieces of furniture back in! The floor looks amazing. My husband and I are both delighted with the job. An excellent, professional service from start to finish. We would have no hesitation in recommending them.

First Floors did our flooring in our clinic ( Synergy) which I am delighted with. David was great at advising me on the best type of flooring for our brief and I'm so grateful he talked me out of what I initially wanted as it what not nearly have been as nice! He also transformed staircase with mdf treads with quickstep laminate making it look oak which was otherwise going to be carpeted. This has made it into a feature.
