Very disappointing experience with Fishpools. I purchased the Glacier dining table specifically because it was marketed as having a resilient surface resistant to everyday wear and tear. Within just 3 months of normal household use, the surface developed visible hairline scratches. When I raised this concern, Fishpools repeatedly dismissed the complaint by focusing on whether it was a manufacturing defect, despite me making it clear that my issue was with the misleading durability claims used to sell the product. The most shocking part of their response was being told that plates, crockery and cutlery will “of course” cause scratches when placed on the surface. So let me understand this correctly — a dining table advertised as resistant to everyday wear and tear cannot withstand normal dining use without scratching? Had this been made clear before purchase, I would never have purchased this product. Poor aftercare, contradictory responses, and very disappointing product quality. I would think twice before purchasing from Fishpools and do NOT recommend.

Avoid avoid avoid 2.5K corner piece sofa delivered Aug 2024, by Dec fabric 'bagging' we had hardly sat on it!! I complained, they sent a technician who said no manufacturing fault but added that he could improve by adding pads under the seats....figure than one out!! Fishpools refuse to fund this improve despite it being in use less than 6 months Constant E mails from myself to them and guess what....Im being ignored Please spend your hard earned money with a company that cares is my advice

Terrible service bought placemats, l asked if l could exchange them for a better quality ones as they started to go funny pealing and looking awful , the manageress said no ,l had 2 sets most of them was faulty ,you never what she done next she opened 5 new boxes and changed them . I tried to speak to them after l left the shop no one got back to . I used them carefully but still Harlequin placement started flaking and looking awful so threw them out and never shopped there again

Customer service is terrible. They sold me a damaged mirror then implied I damaged it. Offer zero help when things go wrong and look for ways to wriggle out of simple situations. Check out their own google reviews. Then decide if you want to spend your hard earned money there.

Poor quality products and after-sales customer service focused on doing whatever it takes to NOT accept back faulty products. Will not shop there again. Have learnt my lesson. Will shop elsewhere going forward.

Katie Watson designed our front room . This was a fantastic experience for my husband and I. The design was perfect and we did not change anything. This saved my husband and I lots of time as we normally wander around shops and cannot make decisions . The furniture was ordered and has all arrived . The room looks complete with decoration/furniture which all compliments each other . Would highly recommend , Thank You

With the help, support and advice of Katie we have just finished the complete redesign of our main sitting room. We are absolutely delighted with the end result and its exactly what we wanted. Throughout the process Katie has been a great listener and then with skill and passion has turned our half baked ideas into a truly lovely finished scheme. Cant recommend both Katie and Fishpools enough

The idea of hiring an interior designer hadn't crossed my mind before coming to Fishpools but I'm so glad I did. Kerry was attentive from start to finish and my living room is now by far the best room in the house. All the furniture and soft furnishings were carefully selected and I was kept fully in the loop throughout the entire process. Kerry managed to bring together a vision that was, at best, erratic before I hired her to help. I have no doubt my refurbishment went 10 times smoother than it would have done thanks to her. Could not recommend highly enough!

Purchased Lagos bedroom furniture, a non stock item so 6 weeks delivery time. Had to re order replacement drawer runners for one of the drawers as the bearings had fallen out? Also noticed that one of the triple wardrobe doors was noticably warped. Fishpools sent a man out to inspect this before ordering another. Waited another 6 weeks for replacement door to arrive, which was wrong handed! 6 weeks later again and we are told that the second replacement door is damaged! Original order for this furniture was July 2016. We are still waiting for the replacement door and it is almost 2017! Spent a considerable amount of money purchasing this furniture. Have been very disappointed with Lagos suppliers quality control and with Fishpools inability to ensure they get it right. Fishpools after sales service very poor. The odd email saying your sorry is not good enough, when we still waiting for our bedroom suite to be completed.

We approached Fishpools design services and were given Katie Watson as our interior designer. From initial meeting through to implementation of designs, Katie was professional , approachable and clearly has a talent for her job. The colours , furniture and soft furnishings have worked beautifully and in harmony resulting in an inviting and stunning living room . We would recommend Katie wholeheartedly.

From the first contact we had with Katie in the Autumn of 2015 she was excellent in every way. Her interpretation of our general brief and requirements were spot on almost first time and our amends and extra ideas were quickly incorporated into her visuals and costings. When we visited the store she was always ready to guide us through the materials, colours and items that we were considering and she always seemed to have enough time to deal with our questions and queries. Katie organised the bespoke decoration fantastically and the tradesman turned up exactly when agreed and did a great job. When it came to the delivery and installation of the furniture everything arrived on the agreed day at the agreed time and Katie was on site again as agreed to supervise the whole project. The finished job was perfect in all respects and we have had many admiring comments and compliments about the overall result in the last year. We remain extremely pleased with the result. In conclusion we would recommend Katie to any potential client. Her attention to detail and ability to interpret our (sometimes abstract) requirements coupled with her experience and very professional approach makes Katie an excellent choice for anyone looking for a classy interior designer.
