Absolutely beautiful work! We love our new live edge elm dining table. The shell inlay is a gorgeous touch, and the craftsmanship is top-notch. Highly recommend sourcing from Handmade in Brighton who were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish.

We commissioned Jude and Jonathon to bespoke a live edge table for us in 2025. When it comes to knowledge and quality work then don't bother going anywhere else because our finished product is absolutely amazing, the centre piece and talking point of our property. We commissioned a large board table, a desk and a coffee table for our newly renovated offices earlier this year. Jude and Jonathan delivered three stunning pieces that are beautifully crafted. Their level of customer service is of the highest and they keep me updated throughout the process. I would highly recommend their craftmanship and service to anyone. We are still getting wonderful comments on the pieces every time we have visitors to the office.

I left writing this for a week to see if the 'shine' would wear off but I'm loving my new desk more every day. Jude and Jonathan made me a lovely new desk from a piece of locally sourced elm. It has 'live' edges, a small resin pool and unbelievable grain detail, which I find myself touching and stroking all the time. It is very tactile and is now home to my personal PC and my work laptop, along with several monitors. Jude and Jonathan have done a wonderful job showing me around the workshop, to select the piece of timber, showing examples of other commissions and then they did the install themselves. My only word of warning would be, like tattoos, once you have one you start thinking about getting another one :) My desk my not be as large as some of the tables, but I'm definitely thinking about getting a new dining table now!

Absolutely the most beautiful table! Can’t take our eyes off of it. It fits in our kitchen perfectly for our family, both ascetically and spaciously. Communication and delivery was swift and professional especially with the aftercare and advice. Couldn’t ask for more.

Delighted with our beautiful oak table and bench made from a tree that had fallen in our garden. Jude even helped us source someone who could kiln dry the wood for us so very pleased with the entire service.

We love our dining table and bench! It’s amazing quality, made from Elm. They gave it a really personal touch by setting some coins into 2 small pools of resign that were from the coin collection of my partner’s grandad. This has made it even more special and sentimental. The service was brilliant, they were so helpful every step of the way and really communicative. Highly recommend!

Our one piece live edge oak table is simply beautiful. It is my favourite thing in our house and every time I look at it I see new and wonderful details. It’s breathtaking and the design process and service have been expert from start to finish

Stunning, stunning, stunning, STUNNING!!! The only word to describe that feeling when I come downstairs and see our table every morning. It’s been a few weeks and every time I look at it, I get the same ‘wow’ feeling. We are so glad we found Jon and Jude as they put the finishing touches on our house renovation, with an incredible one piece elm live edge table. Nothing was too much trouble, everything was exactly done to our wishes and I am SO SO glad we listened to their advice and didn’t go with our first brief, because they were so right. An absolute pleasure to talk to and to deal with, I cannot recommend them highly enough!
