About Us

We are a small, professional and friendly team of Interior Designers and Project Managers working in Brighton, London, Sussex and the South East. We offer a one-stop-shop approach and can provide all elements of your home renovation project, from concept through to completion. The team at Pataross have the resources, skills and experience to make the whole experience as stress free and enjoyable as possible. We understand that redesigning or renovating your home can be daunting and people are put off by time, cost or potential disruption. We always kickstart the process by meeting with you to discuss your ideas and how we can make the most of your home. It is our aim to make this an enjoyable experience, allowing you to focus your energy on creative aspirations, rather than organising trades, souring materials, tracking the costs. By keeping things simple, communication open and using our select team of tried and tested contractors, we strive towards a finished product that everyone can be proud of, whilst also having some fun along the way! We have a 100% track record of bringing our projects in on time and on budget!

Sarah did a fantastic job helping us visualise and create our new bathroom. We’d been to a number of bathroom places to get design inspiration but none of them had shown us anything particularly different. Sarah listened deeply to our needs and wants and delivered some fantastic suggestions - each of them addressing our requirements in different and unique ways. Sarah was increasingly patient with us as we refined the final plan further. Sarah then project managed our whole project, from selecting great trades people, arranging them all on site, and helped us select and source all the products. This was all done so calmly and professionally with quality rather than haste at heart. We are thrilled with the end result. Yes we spent more than we’d planned but that was down to our own overspend on products and unforeseen structural work. It’s a real family bathroom - practical and functional, but with a fantastic look and feel. I would highly recommend Sarah’s work.

We have worked with Sarah and Ed from Pataross Projects on a number of residential refurbishments and have also provided ‘end of project’ cleans. We really enjoy working alongside their team and relish the challenge of working with some of the interesting and unusual products they specify as part of their high end residential refurbishments. Over the three years that we have worked together we have recommended them to our clients who are looking for Interior Design and Project Management services and we look forward to many more years of working together.

I knew, when entering my renovation project, that it was going to be a massive undertaking, what with a 3 storey townhouse. What I was expecting was huge stress; what I actually got was smooth, professional, considerate and stress free project management. Sarah at Pataross regularly communicated with me during the course of the 16 week project, she understood me from the get-go, interpreted my design ramblings into a workable and stylish plan and deployed trades that were professional, courteous and quality driven. I've never used this type of service before, but would definitely work with Sarah and the team again - I enjoyed the experience too. I've been recommending them to all my friends and family.

We met Sarah with some vague ideas about how to develop our flat and she did an excellent job in realising those ideas into a concrete plan which was delivered on time. The great advantage of working with her was her knowledge of local experts (builder, electrician, plumber, carpenter, decorator) and their relationship with her was to our benefit in getting a good job done. We were away for part of the work because there was internal demolition and rebuilding - Sarah provided updates at least weekly with photos to help us see how the work was progressing and to clarify issues of design. Sarah quickly sorted out any problems that emerged during the work and we had complete confidence in her as the project progressed. It was so lovely to work with Sarah who is creative and imaginative in her approach, whilst being very clear in her interpretation of what we wanted - and improving upon it. We are thrilled with our flat.

Myself and my partner really enjoyed working with Sarah and Ed. We were on a strict budget and a very tight timeline but the Pataross team worked tirelessly to ensure that the project run on time and budget. We are delighted with the results -the flat is unrecognisable and the quality of finish is beautiful.

Commented: where are the sconces from?Hi Daniel - These beautiful bulkhead lights are from Dowsing and Reynolds. The fixture is called 'Dave', which made us chuckle. Its an external light, so perfect for bathrooms as it is IP rated.
