“We embarked on a major home renovation project this year. Both myself and my wife are very creatively minded but realise this doesn't necessarily translate to a functional, practical space on such a large project. So we asked Emma to help structure our thoughts, as well as share some of her many years' experience with space planning. She is also a mine of information when it comes to finding actual products and finishes to suit a particular aesthetic. It's sometimes hard to put a value on good design consultancy, as many of us fancy ourselves as amateur designers from watching the telly! But I can't emphasise enough how much knowledge and wisdom it takes to transform a space, from something you don't like, into a beautiful place you haven't seen yet.
