The location is challenging because we are in the middle of a terrace and our garden is only accessible through the house, but everyone worked around this without damaging the rest of the property. The builders also spotted a problem with the plans while laying the foundations and worked out how to rectify this straight away, which definitely avoided costly delays. The extension is professionally finished and looks great. During the work the budget spreadsheet was very helpful as this meant we could keep track of spending each week, see how much we still had to pay, and see the effect of any changes to the overall cost.
