We've had experience with a few architects over the years and it's always been difficult to explain our ideas and get them translated to a Design that matched our expectations. Not so with Gill and Mark; they promised to get us planning where others failed and they succeeded! Not only that, but with only a couple of conversations they instantly knew what we wanted, put this down on paper and came up with a selection of Designs, all of which we wanted! It's a shame our site had a number of planning constraints and restrictions because with a more open brief, I would have been very excited to see what they could come up with. Well there's always next time! There's a reason why you have to wait to get these people on board; but very well worth it!

We have been working with Gill on a two-storey house extension. Although we are only at the design stage of the project, so far we have been really impressed and happy with the service we have received. Gill have been extremely professional but also warm and friendly. Being total novices at this, Gill has clearly explained the process and has delivered everything within the agreed timescales.
During the design process Gill met with us with proposed drawings based on our initial brief. As we discussed the plans in detail, Gill made instant adjustments to incorporate our requirements. After the meeting, Gill very quickly emailed us a revised proposal which totally incorporated our wish list and is exactly what we were hoping for!
We would definitely recommend Hampshire Design Consultancy Ltd.
We just can’t wait to get our extension built now!

what an amazing job Gill & Mark have done for us!! they have fulfilled the brief we gave them for a 2 storey side extension and a 2 storey full length back extension brilliantly! everything we asked for they have delivered on and given us our dream home. they listened to what we wanted and constantly stayed in touch throughout the whole process and kept us informed of stages in planning etc...

Hampshire design suggested and developed a kitchen living space, utility and outdoor landscaping design concept with us by converting a double garage into a single and increasing our footprint to 40m sq. Part of the service to us was to provide a short list of kitchen and building contractors. HDC drew up plans and obtained planning permission. They liaised with the builder and kitchen designers/ fitter on the initial commencement of the project before handing over to the contractors and we gave HDC regular updates on progress during project build. The result is a dream kitchen and utility with a wow factor and contemporary outdoor landscaping.

They had many good ideas for the design of the exterior and also for the interiors. They worked with various other trades and organised some of the materials used. They were also excellent when there was a fault with some equipment supplied by a supplier recommended by them and got the goods replaced at no extra cost.

I have worked on a number of projects with Hampshire Design Consultancy, the last one being a new development of nine houses in a very sensitive conservation area. They have some brilliant architectural ideas and will take on ideas offered by the client without hesitation. I have found them quicker than most architects and have a real interest in the projects rather than the complacency found in some larger architects practices. They are also very nice people to do business with. I would recommend them highly.
