Beyond expectation ! Cathy Phillips & Co solved brilliantly what my husband and I considered to be a big problem : How to rejuvenate a flat in London, under a set budget, when you live overseas ? In the selection process Cathy stood out from the various interviews I conducted because she listened and allowed a great deal of time to make sure that we were understanding each other. This has proven to be the case throughout the project, from mood board to completion. Having ideas is one thing, making them come true is another one. Cathy succeded in both. Being away meant that she was very much in charge but we talked a lot over the phone and corresponded via mails. She sent us regular , factual progress reports , made very clever suggestions as we went along and always had our satisfaction on top of her mind. I would certainly recommand Cathy to any one looking for a dedicated and competant interior designer able to lead beautifully and efficiently the transformation of a living space.

Cathy has helped transform my living space from bland to warm and stylish, with a little bit of wow factor! Throughout the project she was a pleasure to work with and she really listened to my ideas so when the project was finished it felt like I had had a lot of input too. Cathy is working miracles on the tired, jaded and bashed-about decor of our family house in Twickenham. Problems to solve include chronic lack of space, growing children including 2 teenagers and need for flexibility of use. She took time at the start to get to know us as a family and our individual dynamics and came up with a whole house solution which we love. We are now near the end of the project and are absolutely delighted with the results. Cathy is great fun to work with, has a wealth of interesting suppliers and is a highly creative problem solver. Cathy Phillips & Co provided a complete design service for my new loft extension and re-furnishing of my kitchen. The service was of the highest quality both in terms of their customer care and the creativity of their design ideas. Although I might have had some reservations about some of the colours chosen and treatments suggested, I was exceedingly happy with the finished result and would recommend them highly!

And you'll very quickly understand how much she can help and for how much. The first is a lot the second is surprisingly little. She's very good value in every sense of the word. She’s handled a number of projects I know about. I first knew Cathy when she was a project manager. She's a graduate of The Interior Design School in London, where she won a Diploma in Interior Design covering everything from architectural awareness and planning to lighting, finishes and sourcing. But she's no fluffy fashion freak. As a project manager she's a tough cooky who suffers no fools, is very strong on detail, maintains tight budget discipline and delivers on schedule. This she accomplishes even in London where contractors and subcontractors are notorious for straying off line - all vital strengths she has brought to her Interior Design Company. These and her inherent design tastes were very much the reasons why my wife and and I trusted her with two of our most important projects - the design and project management of our kitchen/diner rebuild and the design of our front rooms - totally transforming them. No mean task when we were trying to maximise the spacious feel of our compact Victorian terraced house. Before these projects we were thinking of selling up. Now we wouldn't dream of moving and besides, you can't believe how much the valuations have also been transformed. We now squirm at the site of the "before" pictures but feel utterly at home with the afters. We feel she has captured the essence of what we wanted the house to be while bringing out the best in it and us. A stylish home. Some achievement.
