We consulted with Ruth towards the end of a very long full home renovation, when we were running out of steam on final decisions and struggling to make progress. She came in with fresh eyes, fresh ideas and helped us move forwards. We loved her furniture and soft furnishings recommendations and her colour / material suggestions. Not only is she very knowledgeable, she is also absolutely lovely and so approachable. Highly recommend.

One of the most helpful experiences of my renovation! Ruth did a 2 hour in-person consultation at my home (amidst the start of construction chaos) to help us with some decisions on joinery, paint colours, electrical plans and layouts. As well as giving me the confidence I needed (as someone with no interior design or architecture experience) to make the bolder choices I was unsure about, Ruth also gave us some really helpful advice on layouts for our main bathroom, as well as supplier recommendations. As a result we ended up changing our floorplan, maximising our storage and gaining a much-needed and wanted double vanity. I now feel more confident about the direction we're taking with colour and our overall scheme - a huge value add! I'd highly recommend working with Ruth to anyone going through a house renovation and wanting some expert guidance.

We have been working with Ruth for a couple of years on our house refurbishment and we cannot praise her and her work high enough! Ruth not only worked on the design phase but also helped us supervising the work with the builders and contractors. Yet when we were ready and eager to get going she was very generous with her time, always answering our many messages and jumping into many hoops every time we had idea. A marvelous result in a difficult small space. A whole house refurbishment including new stairs, kitchen, bathroom, joinery, floors - the works. Ruth a pleasure to work with. Studio Milne, particularly Ruth, did an excellent job for us. She understood our style right from the start - her initial mood boards were spot on. She’s like a mind reader! The New York-style bathroom and adult bedroom with clever storage solutions are just what we wanted. Ruth's attention to detail in the finishes is great, creating a stylish and inviting space. Everything from the choice of wallpaper to the giant upholstered head board ooze style and comfort. Ruth’s a brilliant collaborator. What's impressive is how she tackled the unique challenges of the space like low ceilings in the bathroom and awkward angles in the bedroom with ideas we wouldn't have thought of ourselves. Plus, she captured the ambiance we wanted perfectly – an adult escape from family life. Overall, it's been a fantastic experience with Studio Milne and Ruth.
