Ash Island Lofts

My wife and I had our loft conversion done by Ash Island back in January and February and couldn't be happier with the end result. From the very start, with our first meeting with Matt to discuss our plans, all the way through to completion, they were fantastic throughout. The construction team were always on time each day, kept us updated with the schedule, made sure the property was kept as clean as possible, always found solutions to tricky problems, resolved the few issues there were straight away and completed the work in a quick timeframe and to a brilliant standard. The neighbours also commented on how good Ash Island were! We are so happy that we chose Ash Island and highly recommend them to anyone else looking to have a loft conversion done.

We are really happy with our loft conversion (two bedrooms and one bathroom) and Matt and the team made it a really smooth and easy process from start to finish. The level of detail and breakdown to their quote was refreshingly transparent and meant there were no unexpected surprises at the end. Karel managed our project day to day and he was brilliant. A real asset to the business - very efficient and on top of everything. Communication was great throughout. We were impressed with the speed of the build and the project ran seamlessly. We were really happy with the quality of the work, and all the trades people who worked on our house were respectful throughout - we lived through the build with two small children so this was important. We are thrilled with the final results and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ash Island and use them again in the future.

Could not recommend this company more highly. Every step of the build, from the planning to completion was stress free. Having been let down by building companies before we were anxious to undertake a large building project but Ash Island made the experience enjoyable. I met with a few building company's before meeting Matt at Ash Island. I felt intuitively on our first meeting that this would be the team for our loft and kitchen extension. Matt's no BS approach was refreshing. The timeframe, costing, and step by step processes were communicated in clear detail which made us feel secure and keen to go ahead. And he's a really nice guy to boot! On first meeting Bill our site manager, I knew that we were going to work well together and Bill and his team did not disappoint. They worked with such professionalism, skill and with a great attitude throughout. Listening to our needs and responded quickly without fuss when changes needed to happen. Even our neighbours said how respectful and lovely the guys were. People always say that doing a big project like this is a nightmare. But I can honestly say it was a great experience, I have learnt so much and had fun along the way. They finished the project ahead of time and stuck to the budget. A big thank you to Matt and his team for completing our loft conversion well within the time period they quoted, professionally and smoothly. Matt is a great chap to speak too and he will answer any queries promptly, also I have to give a big thumbs up to our Project manager Timmy and also Robert who both worked on our build from start to finish, both were pleasant and professional to have on-site during the build, in fact, all the team that worked on our build were great along with Michelle and Chris in the office. Cannot recommend Ash Island highly enough. We had our loft converted into a bedroom and shower room. It was completed on time and within budget to a very high standard. Any minor issues were resolved by Matt and Michelle quickly and without fuss. Our neighbours have commented on the minimal noise, mess and how friendly the team were! We are so happy with our fabulous new rooms!!

We used Ash Island for our loft extension. They were absolutely amazing. The team we had on site were so organised and efficient. They stuck to budget which is the first time that's happened to us in years of home improvements and renovations. I felt informed throughout the whole process, the team turned up at the same time every day and tidied up before leaving every afternoon. There was no swearing or cigarette butts or intimidating male builders in my house - just a very professional group of guys who knew what they were doing and got on and did it. We used Ash Island to do our House extension and internal remodel and I can honestly say that they were brilliant and i'd have no problems recommending them! They delivered the project on time (actually a week early) and on budget. All the trades they used were top quality, their communication was brilliant if they promised something they delivered it and they weren't scared to discuss our designs if they thought there was a better alternative! Ash Island worked on our loft extension and side return kitchen extension. They started work promptly and finished in a great amount of time ahead of our new arrival.
