On moving to the Isle of Wight and a new apartment we needed help with designs and tradesmen. Jan created fantastic designs for the main bedroom and some quirky but fantastic bookshelves. She also pointed us to the right tradespeople to do the work, all of whom were fantastic. Can wholeheartedly remommend Jan.

I contacted Jan feeling overwhelmed with my home and the clutter collected and donated over the years, I have had plenty of help previously from friends and close family however this always ended with me feeling "got at" and more determined to hang on to things, Jan was understanding, respectful and most of all kind. She provided a detailed plan with time scales, had clear ideas and contact details for how and where I could move stuff on to, Jan gave me ideas of how to move furniture about, and how to make rooms work better. Anyway fast forward a couple of months and I currently have a decorator in, working to a colour palette designed to pull my house together, some pieces awaiting being auctioned, the charity shops have welcomed piles of books. I will call on her services again for the next phase

I must admit when I called on Jan for help I was overwhelmed by the project in front of me. Having lived the last 30 years in many rented properties which were mainly painted magnolia I was at a loss as to what to do in the Victorian property which we had just purchased. Jan not only provided a comprehensive report with lots of ideas but reassured me that I could find my inner creativity which had lain dormant for all this time . I recently relocated to the island and needed some advice on how to turn a small space into an office where I could work comfortably and productively. I decided to relocate to the Isle of Wight. I spent a fruitless week searching for a property. Then I met Jan Webb. She listened carefully to my needs and what I liked. Within a week she had found the right property for me. She visited the day after I moved in and helped me decide what extras my new home needed. Her suggestions were practical, had flair and took account of my budget and preferences. I was new to the island. Not only did she direct me to the right stockists, she helped me plan and think about what colour schemes I would like. Ever practical she found someone to put up curtain rails and build in a fitted wardrobe. I found the whole experience very supportive. It was still my home, but with more style than I would have achieved alone.

JMW Interiors recently dressed a house for me, I was extremely happy with the result. There was a great attention to detail, the work was completed in a very professional manner. Jan was very easy to work with and just "got on with it " I was very impressed and would not hesitate to recommend her.

Janette introduced herself to Megan Baker Estate Agents as an interior designer and suggested that she may be able to help with sellers who needed presentation advice. The timing was perfect as we had just been asked to market an empty property which was vacant and had been struggling to sell with a previous estate agent. We visited the house together and I suggested that Janette use her design skills to actually dress the house with furnishings - an idea she hadn't thought of, but was very excited about. The owners were delighted that we had come up with a new idea and so we ran with it. Janette transformed the house from a cold, unloved house into a warm and inviting home. Her design ideas were inspirational and the attention to considered and thoughtful lifestyle detail were fabulous - we and the owners were thrilled with the results. Not only did Janette transform the interior, but also transformed the garden with the help of the owners gardener - and she continued to manage the property, ensuring it was well kept internally and externally. After over two years of being on the market and unsold with various other estate agents, it wasn't long before the property went under offer - thanks to a great team work combination with Megan Baker Estate Agents and Janette. We would not hesitate to recommend Janette - her versatility and eye for design has been proven in this project and we are looking forward to being able to use her skills again. Her enthusiasm and tenacity was wonderful.
