Curtains- can't decide
Comments (7)I would agree with the previous comments. A plain fabric will enhance your wallpaper as a feature. I have a similar look at home and used plain curtains to make the wall paper really stand out. If you opt for a lighter weight fabric you could always use an interlining to ensure you don't compromise on warmth. Interlining is a padding, it sits between your curtain and curtain lining and comes in different densities, I used an interlining that was attached to my curtain lining for ease. Dianne PS please ignore the bunting, its not a permanent feature :-)...See MorePaint colour to go with this wallpaper?
Comments (7)Hi leo and grace, this is a cool looking wallpaper, very nice but in a north east facing room I would suggest you boost the colour up a bit. Bedrooms should always avoid yellow - it doesn't help you sleep. So here are a few suggestions... Liberty matt Amborella, it's soft and very pretty without being too 'pink'. It will work really well with your grey wallpaper and you could take this all the way around the room. This blue green is Royal Academy - Glass Beach, it's a gorgeous colour, and very restful. My final suggestion, and one that adds a bigger punch of colour, is Royal Academy -Sand Glass. I don't suggest you paint this all the way around the room but rather use it in combination with a grey that perfectly matches one of the greys in the wallpaper. I visualise stripes! Let me know if I can be of any further help. I could put together a mood board for you with sample colours. Best wishes Yasmin....See MoreWaterproof Wallpaper
Comments (5)Hi Kate, If you are wallpapering your bathroom - you don't necessarily need waterproof wallpaper, you just need to seal it with a decorating sealant (Decorators Varnish) It's great, and it means it gives you all the freedom of wallpaper designs! I would recommend the dead flat finish as it won’t show, although I would always suggest a small test patch first, even though I have never heard of any problems. We use it even over the most expensive rolls of paper! I hope this helps! Good luck, Holly...See MoreCement looking fireplace options
Comments (7)Microcement would give the ideal look you are after with the protection coat making it safe to have around your fireplace, it's not cheap but it's full application has only 3-5mm thickness whereas with actual concrete you'd need it to be quite thick and there's risk of it cracking in places. Hope this helps....See More- 11 years agoGinger Upholsteries thanked Pat Gericke & Associates, LLC
