Comments (11)Like Jonathan said it's hard to comment without pictures, but if it makes you feel better, we have just moved house and all our rooms were white. We had pops of colour from cushions, artwork etc and it never felt cold. The only time I didn't like it was when we had packed everything up and so only the bare minimum was out. I couldn't believe how stark the walls looked. The house looked completely different. So I'm just trying to say the soft furnishings completely transform a space. I loved the white, it provided a perfect, clean backdrop....See MoreKitchen respray colour advice
Comments (8)Thank you colourhappy My aim in to update the kitchen really but obviously don’t want to make a mistake by choosing the wrong colour for cabinets. I don’t want to make the worktop look more yellow/brown. I was convinced the navy would work with cream? I painted some samples of hague blue which I like for the island but shadow white is too pale and made the work top look brown. I am now considering pavilion grey for cabinets and Hague blue for the island. I never considered the floor colour and have attached a close up together with a picture of the tiles. I’ve also pictured my samples of Hague blue and shadow white. My kitchen is very dark most of the time. Thank you...See Morekitchen colour scheme advice needed

Comments (3)I think your kitchen is lovely. The cabinets are a nice neutral shade and I even like the stove! I particularly like the shelving. If you want to add a bit more drama how about painting the walls a mid grey? It would also go nicely with the stove. Or even an olive green. Here’s some idea - first pic is Dulux Chic Shadow and second is Overtly Olive....See More- 11 years ago
