There is not a transformation or before and after posted on your site ??? Disappointed : (

Although I am so loving the "after" that I don't have to see the before, just wanted to compare it with my UGLY split level. I am just looking for affordable changes so my house isn't such an eye sore but don't want to invest so much that if I move I won't get a very good return.

Do you have an estimated cost posted anywhere ? Feeling like this amazing redo is more than I should spend on my house in this area......Northern Minnesota.

Found it...........but you can't find it by leaving here and going to their web site, just click on the photo on the right side of this page and you will see "Plymouth phase 2 exterior". The before and after photos are there, but still can't find any estimated costs posted anywhere ;(

To me the proportions of the windows don't look right. I don't think that the front face of the bay would've originally been one pane - I think there wouldn't been one or two vertical dividers. To improve the look of the house I would replace the windows with something that looks more in keeping. I would also re-render with a smooth render. I would either put the front door where the flat window is, or make more of an entrance of the for where it is. You don't say whether you use the driveway down the side of the house for a car. if not there are things you could do to make the existing entrance more appealing with a path, planters, etc.

Individual finishes are personal so if you change the windows or render this is entirely personal. In my humble opinion the size, shape and placement of the windows with this roofline firmly seat this house in its era. I would also caution anyone on having one unusual house in a residential street of similar houses. In my opinion this house would benefit from moving the garage and front door forward (presumably reclaiming some space at the back) and making the front door less subservient to the main house. I think there should be some soft planting near the house too.
