I bought a very similar version as in the screenshot. It was perfect for the kitchen. It was perfect for the kitchen. Cute, small, but enough size and power. It gives a nice light, not harsh, properly diffused. And I bought it really cheap. But for my loggia, that`s spacious enough. I decided to buy a lamp that doesn`t use electricity. I found one on amazon, as well as flag pole lights. I think it’s perfect cause the loggia is on the sunny side, so the lamp stores the energy and gives off a soft and pleasant lighting at night. I don't really prefer to sleep in total darkness and this kind of lighting helps me doze off. So, for those who have a balcony or loggia, I strongly advise buying these!

As the two people above have suggested, you could definitely add in a subtle LED lights hidden under the shelves so you wouldn't know they are there - this is a great way of adding a glowing aurora to the room and just adding some extra ambience - that way you won't lose the light that you currently have in this area. Antique, speckled and distressed mirror panels are really proving popular at the moment, they are a great way to boost and reflect light around the room but also offer a subtle feature design. Again, you could add in some low warm white thin LED strips just so it offers some additional light and glow in that area. Do you have any images of the current lights/chimney set up as it currently is so that we can see what you have and come up with some more tailored ideas for you? It seems to me the space above the picture rail should be clear of fittings or any decor for that matter. I'm also having a hard time picturing wall lights and alcove shelving on the same wall. Just because they are there now doesn't mean they should stay. Some lights on an extending arm could look nice, depending on your style. Or flush LED lights if you want to light the shelves. Much depends on the design of the shelving.
