My favorite is to just make my normal marinara sauce with meat (that I typically serve over spaghetti pasta) and mix the zucchini noodles into the sauce right before serving. (I usually put the zoodles into boiling salted water for about 30 seconds first, and then drain, before adding them to the sauce, but that probably isn't necessary). The zoodles will add water to the sauce, so a thicker sauce is better, so you can just incorporate the added water into the sauce. It really has the "mouth feel" of spaghetti pasta, and the taste of the zucchini is pretty bland and picks up the flavor of the sauce. My husband, who gave up eating pasta a year or so ago, has been eating marinara with meat sauce straight (i.e. without any noodles) and he is thrilled with the zoodle innovation. He admitted that he has missed the "feel" of pasta in his sauce, and finds the zoodles an excellent substitute.

I live in the Scottish Borders and three years ago there was a government incentive to externally insulate the houses. Due to the construction of the houses (poured concrete they couldn’t have cavity wall insulation ) . The difference to the heating bills is unbelievable but the look of the house is fabulous as there was new render put on new window sills and down pipes .i agree with the comment that just doing one house would stand out like a sore thumb but it just takes one to start the ball rolling . Maybe speak to your neighbours and they may want to do the same . All the houses in my street had the cladding and it has transformed the look of the street . I have since revamped my lounge and kitchen. There was nothing wrong with the kitchen cupboards so they where painted ,new work tops and sink . I did have a breakfast bar that took up a lot of room which I have replaced with a glass table . My next project is my bedroom which is getting refitted with new wardrobes and draws . Ex local authority houses are well built and have big rooms , they are worth buying as you can do so much with them ,I have bigger cupboards than the rooms that are in some new builds . This is my kitchen, it is so much lighter and more space . The back board is the same as the work top , so no tiles to grout .

Hello fullrenov, With so many finishes and colours to choose from it can be quite a feat getting all the materials to match... Things like pop up waste and bottle trap etc can be forgotten in the excitement of it all... but..... before panicking about it, consider if things are in certain areas... Could they team with chrome? I like Nickel.. Do you see the waste and could you live with a chrome one? Ie if it is a deep bowl such as the one pictured where you only see it when looking directly into the bowl. The way to look at this is to perhaps introduce a bit more chrome into the equation and then perhaps it will seem deliberately designed around the two finishes.. With the screen you really want it not to stand out so much especially if its fitted onto a light wall/tiles... So consider where you can introduce chrome or silvery accessories and move the chrome element on to include mirrors etc... A few images to give you an idea that black or dark metal fittings are style on tap! :))
