Re the paint colour I wouldn't recommend white it will be very stark, you need something warmer with possibly a taupe or heather tone, this will work well with your scheme. Re the spot lights, you can go for energy efficient LED's, they come in white or warm white. The warm white give off a warmer light, similar to what we are used to from our traditional light bulbs. The warm whites vary hugely from brand to brand, so view them before buying them. I would recommend a dimmer switch so you can control the amount of light. Not all fittings are suitable for dimming. Re the mirror I wouldn't put gold as you have a chrome fire surround. But burnished metals are perfect. Good luck.

Hi Thank you very much. I just had a thought and it may be something you like the sound of. How about installing the paper you like central to the wall and framing the wall in one of our leather panels. They could be used as a frame or to create a pillar either side of the paper ? Just a thought? Or something very different is to paint the wall and buy lots of big frames and put the paper in them? Creating Art/feature wall V.I.P Walls

My husbands done everything himself plus he's never done anything like this before, hence why it's taking so long! but he's a perfectionist so I don't mind. Cashmere popular. Mine being fitted this week. I have chosen real wood worktop and upstand. Plain Glass splashback behind hob and oxide emerald green floor tiles. Just for something different. Walks mmm not sure……something muted. Small kitchen but bright! Ideas… don’t hate me re floor 😳
