Hi Firstly I love the light over the table it's fab! I do think the lighting needs layering up a little and I would probably introduce a lamp on the work surface in the kitchen and possibly add some lovely lanterns on the breakfast bar with candles. Also, could you buy some temporary under cupboard lights and pop them under your breakfast bar? I know it may not be as good as integrated lighting but it may also enhance the ambience of your kitchen/dining room. Another option could be to place a thin console table running along the wall and have a couple of small lamps there?

Hi Laura, Your living room is beautifully decorated, can I offer a slightly different suggestion. You could add artwork on another wall or further along the wall or propped up on the shelf above as shown in your shelving images. I agree with Minnie I think your TV would look better lowered because it is the central focus and if it was lower down it wouldn't be the main focal point of the room. I think it would be a good idea to free up floor space by not adding a floor light and adding either 2 wall lights either side of the TV as shown in the 1st + 2nd images or one statement wall light in the corner as shown in the 3rd image below. The closest I can find is the Junction floor lamp from Heals. It's got the same square part at the top, but it's copper not brass. Slightly over budget at £189.

Hello I bought one of these a while ago. It was working fine until we moved house and lost a key bit - the bit that connects the bulb to the lamp. I am keen to get a replacement part but haven't been able to work out who the manufacturer is. Can anyone help. It's not an Anglepoise. Thanks Maggie
