Yes. I have the sort of mind that would fret all day otherwise.

Of course - imagine friends coming in and seeing an unmade bed - revolting.

I make it but leave the duvet drawn back so it airs properly

I pull the bedding all the way back whilst I shower, eat, tidy and dress and make it just before I leave the house

If I can't even make your bed in the morning, how can I be expected to accomplish anything more during the day?!!

Also, if I happen to have 'one of those days', coming home to a made bed reminds me that I did actually complete one task today that I didn't want to..........it's unbelievably motivational!!

I roll the duvet to let the bed air when I first get up and make it once I'm showered dressed and breakfasted.

I absolutely must make my bed every morning or else I feel like the room is a mess and my morning is off. It's not just keeping tidy, but keeping sanity as well! :)

I just feel that life is one big tidy-up operation that I struggle to keep on top of.... so making the bed is an easy win as it's nearly 4 sq m of tidyness accomplished in about 10 seconds!

When I get out of bed in the morning I throw the duvet back and leave the bed to air while I get ready and eat breakfast. I then make and 'dress' the bed and quickly tidy my room so it's clean, fresh and welcoming when I go to bed, later that evening. Wonderful feeling ...

Every day, windows left open a little all day.

I get up & make my bed first thing otherwise it would never get done! P.S. Dust mites are killed by washing your sheets at 60 degC every week!

Erm....hortonhearsawho2013.... do you wash your mattress and pillows at 60 degrees every week?! That's where the brutes hang out. I leave the duvet tidily folded back, straighten the bottom sheet and plump up the pillows every morning; it looks neat and I think it's healthier.
