Zoffany do a lovely range of paints - both paris grey & harbour grey have the subtle grey warm tones which will accentuate the breakfast bar & floor. - lovely kitchen by the way.. :)

We have used many colour ideas but this year used Farrow and Ball "All White" which at first glance looks like standard white paint but in fact it has a deeper warmth and tones well with other colours. Our kitchen has various grey shades but another brave idea is to use Aubergine shades...the rich warmth works perfectly with grey and would make your kitchen units really stand out. It needs to be more toward the plum shades rather than purple but the only concern is you mention the room links to another with Teal in it so you need to have the colours together in varying light to see if the idea could work. However...safe and good is "All white"!

Lovely kitchen!! Have you tried F&B Elephant's Breath yet? We love this colour as it's warm but also goes with a grey palette, and should work with your teal sofa. It's a very versatile colour but can vary considerably in different lights so would urge you to try a sample pot first! Let us know what you decide . . .

The units are quite sandy so I think something with a lilac undertone would bring the grey out. A lighter shade of elephants breath would be perfect! Maybe try Dulux Just Walnut?

Portland stone (Little Green) looks beautiful with teal and could tie it all together. The subtle green undertones in the P.S. would enhance the floor.

We have a similar kitchen and went for Laura Ashley Pale Dove Grey :)

Like you, we are just redoing our kitchen and have chosen very light cabinets. We are painting the walls in behind in Scree 227 by Little Greene. You might choose to do the same just on the kitchen walls and in behind the TV cabinet and paint the others a very light colour (i.e. almost white). May I, too, be cheeky and ask where you sourced your beautiful sofa?
