Kitchen sink tap and the gap I need between the wall and sink
Comments (6)HI Sonia, Thanks So my sink will be an undermounted and the tap hole will be made in the worktop itself.... This is the tap I have got: https://www.tapwarehouse.com/p/clearwater-rosetta-pull-out-filter-kitchen-tap-pv?sku=clearwater-rosetta-chrome-pull-out-filter-tap-var Curious if I should be asking for some more space at the back the sink Depth is 430mm. Standard worktop I assume is 600mm and undermount sink depth is 430mm which doesnt leave a huge amount at either end, so I'm unsure how this design has been achieved and if this is how it should ideally look?...See MoreCan you fit a gas hob over a 500 base unit?
Comments (9)Hi Jonathan, do you mean it will look odd being over a 500 unit? We may not put a unit under and just have a fridge there as not much space for one anywhere else. We will be in for at least 6 months and the worktop is likely getting replaced anyway so thought it nicer to have one in built so we can add a splashback behind it. It's on a budget so can get a good make for £30. We don't actually need an oven and as it doesn't work where it is, we might ditch it and just use the hob with our combi microwave and air fryer etc! A new buyer can worry around what they want instead. Ultimately we are renovating the whole house and it won't increase the value if we leave the kitchen as it is so yes, it's worth thinking about it as a whole....See MoreBest Flooring for Kitchen with concrete base

I think to create more visual warmth in the kitchen you could go for an LVT in a warm wood effect. One flooring throughout will always make an area seem more spacious. Here’s some ideas...See MoreHelp with cement base mix to stand a fountain on
Comments (7)Thanks Sonia, I think that's for just bedding the slabs onto the ground which is not a problem. We need to add aggregate to this so it goes deeper into the ground to stop it sinking 🤣 I'm sure we will work it out, ha ha...See More- 10 years ago
