Console table deco

I have just bought the console table placed at the dining room and would like to know whether I've got the decoration right.

Hello maxchew,

It's rather a shame that the aircon/heater unit is there as ideally the picture and picture light could be situated higher up the wall. Not to worry...

With the shell wall sconces.. Why not add two pillar candles in cream.... Something taller and more traditional looking or have LED ones for safety... Perhaps consider a tall one and a shorter one.. Here's a link and it comes with a nifty remote!! : ))

On the console itself take the lamps and the people away and just leave the animals (pair) Move them in slightly to the left so they sit slightly in front of the painting but paired as you have them now..

On the other side consider a low bowl... with nothing in it..

The table to the right with the plant... Move this further away to another location so the console becomes a focus in it's own right... Leave the horses underneath the console they too look nice there.. : ))

Hi, Amber Jeavons, thanks a lot for your advice and I shall follow what you have advised me to do. By the way are you saying that the LED candles should be in pair, that is one tall and one short, be placed on each of the wall scone?

Hi Marie, I like your idea of a small console table against the stair wall, something like the EICHHOLTZ CONSOLE TABLE BEAU DECO or the EICHHOLTZ CONSOLE TABLE TENNANT would look great, as I'd say the corner table/stand in your picture is too small. I wouldn't over crowd a small console with too many lamps, I'd suggest a mirror or painting above and a flower arrangement and/or photo frames on the console. You could then have a floor lamp in the corner, something like the EICHHOLTZ FLOOR LAMP REGIS possibly. I hope that gives you some ideas. PB

Looks a good compromise. To lower it you could cut down the legs, if they are of a material you can cut such as wood. I bought a stool at Dunelm and it was too high, I couldn’t get my legs under the table, so I sawed the legs down so it fits now. Or you could replace the legs of the stool with longer ones. There are lots of sellers online who sell replacement furniture legs.

Hello Maxchew,

Most Welcome! With the led candle I'm suggesting a tall on 1 side and a smaller on the other wall sconce. Or buy a pair the same size if you prefer it! I like to suggest something slightly different when looking at symmetry.. It's more interesting to have something slightly different here.. See what you think! :))
