Kitchen/dining Re-design
Comments (8)If you love having the table in front of the window you could have a fitted window seat for one side of the table and chairs on the other. I would create an L shape kitchen to include units on the top wall so go round the corner from the cooker - put the fridge/freezer here. I would then have a floor to ceiling unit on the wall where your fridge currently is for all your storage. You could have this in a different colour than the rest of the kitchen so it stands out....See MoreKitchen Re-design
Comments (7)Sand everything down, give it all a good wipe down with a damp cloth to remove dust. Prime twice and top coat twice - Use Satinwood in a kitchen or gloss, both water based. Depends whether you want super shiny ( glosss ) or soft sheen ( satinwood )- both have the longevity you need. I'm doing a kitchen at the moment. It's easier, faster and gives a better finish if you take all the doors off, paint the carcasses etc. I roller doors where I can, gives a better finish. ( using little gloss rollers ). When everything's dry put the doors back on....See MoreKitchen re-design suggestions
Comments (12)There are, 99% of the time, many ways to design a kitchen. We don’t sell kitchens, but we design lots and lots - and almost all of these are designed with the end users in on the design process . This might be something that would work for you - to be a part of designing the space - then when the design is complete, you simply shop around and ask places to quote using that same design . Makes comparisons much easier to see ! Click on my name or icon to see some feedback and examples on my pro page . At the very least, it might give you a few ideas if you wanted to design this yourself....See MoreHelp with a re-design of my kitchen with 4 doors!
Comments (2)Could you switch the whole thing - have a big cupboard run on that wall with the pitched ceiling, and a nice big island where your table is. Move dining into the current kitchen area....See Moreminnie101
