Comments (6)The darker grey there would probably make the room feel smaller. As it protrudes into the room I would go for the same colour or a lighter colour which will help make the room feel more spacious. It will also help create a great effect with lighting once completed. All the best, Gina...See MoreCashmere or light grey kitchen units for north facing room
Comments (8)Me too, especially when you look at the second photo, which I think is in the back alcove of your kitchen, because that's where you really see the difference between the warmth of the cashmere vs. the cool harshness of the light grey. (By the way, I've been following your various threads but never commented before - I think your kitchen will be fabulous as you are making great, considered choices). Comments (2)Hi, Could you provide a little more information about the room and style you are ofter, for instance the aspect of the room as this will determine how the greys appear; if it's a North facing room a blue tone will be accentuated, making the room feel a little drab; do you have any furniture such as bedside tables, bed, wardrobes you want to incorporate into the scheme, would it be possible to upload an image of the prints, maybe there's a colour on there you could pick out for the walls (or a complementary colour)? I think you could go for dark walls but I wouldn't go for overly dark walls, such that the black frames of the prints are hidden. I would go for a light or mid-sole grey with a green undertone. You don't have an ideasbook set up so I'm not sure if this is the look you're after but Here are some inspiration pictures! All the Best!...See More- 10 years ago
