Standard worktop I assume is 600mm and undermount sink depth is 430mm which doesnt leave a huge amount at either end, so I'm unsure how this design has been achieved and if this is how it should ideally look?

Hi HU-653171399, brass is a soft metal, will scratch, dent and be scuffed easily, plus if it's uncoated it will oxidize and get darker. My advice is speak to your supplier to find out how the material might change over time, and embrace the ageing process as one that offers character.

Assume you've checked all the hoses and connections for any leaks, the tap is tight and sealed ok Its either coming from a gap between the worktop and the rim of the sink which should have either a gasket, plumbers mate or silicon, where water has splashed over the side of the sink onto the worktop and then run down under the lip but if thats the case if the worktop is a laminate (chipboard) you would also see damage of the worktop. Or condensation, does it stop in the summer, is the sink on an external wall and does the sink get very cold.

I'm obviosuly looking in all the wrong places !! Now all I have to do is make sure it's compatable with a waste disposal unit.
