I think the yellow on the bottom with creamy on top would look wonderful. For the walls, I'd go with a warm white. Although, for the upper cabinets take a look at BM Capitol White. It's a warm white with a lot of yellow in it and would look gorgeous with yellow lower cabinets. (I've just painted my kitchen walls with it and it's a wonderful, creamy warm white. I love it).

Also I really really hate my kitchen floor.

I have our library and living room painted in SW Jersey Cream. It is a lovely color. It looks very much like the Wyndham Cream above.

Tib the Capitol White has a very pinky peach undertone on my monitor at least. I would try to use the same undertones.

Hk, no pinky-peach in the Capitol Cream. It's a very warm white, yellow and in some light more of an orange, but so delicate.

So how about Creamy for Top cabs, Aquastone for bottoms and something actually somewhat more saturated than Creamy for the walls. This is SW Irish Cream:

Mama - It was posted earlier in the thread and you are right that it is exactly what I'm looking for. I usually get SW Paint but I know they can do BM colors. I should just replicate her kitchen. I do love it!!

Oh, I scrolled up and found the links I missed. I always liked yellow for a kitchen, and before I decided on paint, I spent a lot of time googling 'yellow kitchens'. That was before fishies' reveal. I brought home about 20 chips from Lowe's, even bought paint and tried one wall, because my DD wanted yellow in the new kitchen. I eventually repainted it to match my Adobe White cabinets, which are in the creamy yellowish range. As much as I like cheerful yellow it just didn't go with the other color I chose, Dried Hydrangea. If ever I repaint the green cabinets I might try yellow again.

In the meantime, I get my yellow fix from vintage pottery, and maybe one day I'll have a buttercup yellow KitchenAid mixer. :)

Whatever color you pick you will be so happy! My good friend did the same thing when she bought and moved into her house, she painted the dark, dark cabinets yellow and it became a totally new space.

Yellow is my favorite color and fishies kitchen makes me drool.

I recently painted a neighbor's kitchen in Corn Silk by Behr. It's on older color #, but still available. I sprayed the cabinets in Chipotle Paste. Bold!.

It's hard to say, louislinus. I'm guessing the most accurate pic is the second? Is it gray or gold running through the counters? Seems like a pale yellow should work.

Hard to say, isn't it? Seems like a muted blue or green would work better. Maybe the yellow is too warm?

I don't think the yellow works too well, I would be inclined to go with a blue or green as tibbrix suggested. Yellows can make certain off-whites look dirty - that looks like more of a grayish white and your floor seems to have a greyish tone to it . Color would liven it up though since there's not a lot of wall space.

Why don't you paint all your cabinets Creamy and the walls Restful? Unless you really really want two different colors. You could bring the yellow in as accents like bowls or linens.

So I'm back to suggesting that SW Aquastone again. I think it would look great with your table and chairs, and it goes great with the Creamy.

Okay I think I found a great inspiration pic. Tibb this looks really close to the aquastone. Going to get a sample of that today. Work begins tomorrow so I better figure this out quick! (Not the walls just the cabinets.)

I think the Aquastone has the depth and warmth you need in that kitchen.

I'd be careful with anything "too orange" with that Aquastone, if you go with it. You don't want your kitchen looking like a Howard Johnson's!

Good Luck! I am waiting for the reveal. I really like your countertop. Do you have anything that has an aqua color you like? All the companies can scan a color and match it. You can get a trial sample. Just keep the formula they use. Sometimes that is easier than paint chips. You are making me want to spruce up my kitchen.
