hi just had living room ceiling and walls plastered found a huge tin if dulux barley white could i use it to seal walls prior to painting colour i want? or should it just be white emulsion? watered down?! Thanks!

I had this prblem in my holiday let cottage, by the sink and behind the bin, we used glass and had it painted to match the walls then professionally installed no screw holes or covers almost seemless. each panel was about £100 fitted. we also had a splashback fitted in a different coour behind the hob. now thinking about doing it in my own kitchen.

I don’t think they’re quite as chunky as the pea rugs, but Alternative Flooring have a wool carpet range called Pebble and Crucial Trading have a chunky wool range called Alaska. Both are good brands and widely available.

I think you can get freestanding ones that look like sideboards and hinge open on the longer edge. Alrernatively, you could get a daybed that extends out to a twin.
