I recently ordered a new bed from Dreams, but they have had a covid outbreak at one of their factories so have had to close temporarily, so delivery has been postponed. Damn! I looked at the ottoman style beds but I found the lifting of it quite difficult, but then I have arthritis so not as strong as I was! I’ve therefore chosen one with drawers instead. I chose an upholstered headboard for a change from my current brass bed which has a most uncomfortable headboard! Here’s a couple I saw that may suit, although I think you’ve made a decision.
