Just thought I would add a few more comments for people who are designing bathrooms now. If a person is wheelchair user go for a wall hung basin so they can get legs and w/ch under it. I chose a pedastal to support basin as my son has learning difficulties so if he leans on it, it will stay put. I also chose the glass shower screen but have now put some nice window peels across eye level. This is so it's more visual and safety aspect for him to know the screen is there. Don't go for chrome handrails unless with rubber grips as smooth surface and soap render them useless. Allow for space in the cubicle. As much as you can afford too as nothing worse than being cramped up and possibly banging elbows and head. A shower curtain is safer for some folk but remember it will be sicker in with power of shower and person inside which can be a hazard in its self. If putting shelves in shower area avoid glass and head height. These may be used by someone to lean on if not in correct area of shower so avoid putting them too far into the shower area. Use handrails / grabrails where this happens. Provide a shower seat. My son doesn't need one to shower with but he has a portable plastic shower chair to sit down and dry/dress on. I used a wall fixed soap dispenser for shampoo and shower gel. This means it doesn't matter which one he uses (can't read) but also avoids bottles on the floor. I'm an occupational therapist and thought I must share this information as every persons needs are different. If someone does need help with advice on adaptations I'm willing to help with advice. With pools and modern houses, I think bold simple schemes work well. Ornamental grasses planted en masse would look effective. We surrounded a pool with Miscanthus sinensis interplanted with Verbena bonariensis in thin beds for one job. However, given the size of your planting area, this might be too large an area for this treatment. My other suggestion would be to go for a sort of Mediterranean scheme using blocks of small shrubs such as Cistus, Lavender, Hebe, Rosemary and Euphorbia wulfenii. These could be planted in drifts to a selected colour palette and then infilled with grasses and drought loving herbaceous like sedums, salvias and agapanthus. The shrubs work well in that their evergreen foliage and twiggy nature trap the leaves and prevent too much debris blowing into the pool.

The pool man was going to leave it like this. then he said could cover the blocks with mosaic tile. But I think the gap is too big and I don't like the blocks. so he said we can add extra marble and stick it underneath the present marble OR add 2 squares of the mosaic tile underneath the present marble , so the gap is less ,but I think I 'll still be able to see the blocks.
