It is a free tool, and probably one of the easiest to use, moreover if you'd like to use our construction team's service you can make a floor plan by just handwriting, so we can send you a quote, but honestly, it would be better for you if we could come for a survey and make all the measurement by ourselves. Hi there, Considering how low your ceilings are, I would suggest placing spot lights strategically rather than in a grid formation. This means placing the lights in the right places and where you would need them. I also recommend a dimmer switch. Lighting is really important in the home if you are getting your ceiling plastered then I recommend you get this right first time as it extremely difficult/messy to move lighting once your ceiling has been done! I can provide you with a lighting plan according to your living room dimensions and furniture and can offer you a low cost option. Ok, so if you’re wanting all 3 I’d start 17.5cm from the wall and have them equidistant or have the 2 where you have them. I wasn’t very good at converting inches to cm (!) but if you had 3 along the peninsula part, they’d only be 23cm apart which feels too close unless they’re glass or something so don’t visually fill the space. my preference is just for the 2 over the peninsula. I’m assuming you have downlights to light up other prep areas btw
