Hello Sana, The brown and white scheme so far can be warmed up with possibly a wooden coffee table and a sofa that has textures... Maybe something in a lighter shade with some brown/cream to pick out the existing colours... Have some brown cushions to compliment the dark wood and possibly introduce a cabinet or something to go with the room... What about a different shaped sofa.. 2/3 seater and a couple of armchairs. You can then create a living and relaxing area separate from the dining area.. A nice glass centre piece for the dining table and a vase and flowers for the living area perhaps... .. Notice I am focusing on what you have as the palette to use when deciding what to add.. Something else that would be nice here is large stone planters with some lovely green indoor plant that likes a lot of light.. This brings another texture into the room and brings it to life.. If you need to keep the sofa then perhaps consider moving the chaise longue to sit opposite the sofa, then an added armchair if you need more seating.. A piece of art or a mirror behind the sofa would dress the wall behind... It just needs some layering really.. : ))

It looks a great room. It's quite tricky to help as you're collecting things you really love from travels etc so you're probably best placed to choose! I assume you're not having a tv? The layout doesn't quite work for me personally as the single sofa isn't sociable and you don't really have a focal point. I'm not sure on your thoughts re layout but I might remove the leaf from the table and store the odd chairs. Put the table where the sideboard is and put the sofa where the table is (leaving a gap in front of the radiator). Then move the sideboard where the sofa is and have a chair under the wall light angled towards the sofa. I might add a Persian rug in spice colours with a bit of blue in. I think I would update the windsor chairs by painting them, I quite like the idea of doing them in colours scales. The lamp is for the sideboard. Love the art and mirror but the scale doesn't quite work. If you did change the layout (and it worked!) I might revisit where you've got things on the wall. I like the coffee table on the link but it may be too large and samey but it may be worth checking on their website periodically. I think a large plant on the floor would look great plus 1/2 smaller ones or stems on furniture. Hello, Sorry about that! Yes of course. The link shows the sofa that I would like. Its a corner sofa with a relaxed corner. Its deep with an adjustable back which is perfect for sitting up or relaxing. Ellie , thanks for giving opinion on this. I had an old rug so I have put that for time being till i get the new one and I would go with light colour (gray or beige you reckon ). Coffee table hasnt arrived yet (https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/aesperoed-coffee-table-black-glass-black-00461888/ ) So using old one. Also here is current looks with old black rug
