I'm also voting the bread! Wouldn't mind the glossy red kitchen aid mixer though - then I guess you could make that delicious loaf up yourself (and have the best of both worlds!)

I'd personally go for the modern home with a partial view of the woods! Floor to ceiling windows and geometric architecture. Of course, in this dream world, the house would be located where it could receive daily unobstructed sunlight and the it would be build with green technology. :)

The lantern roof joining up with the Crittall windows - so much light and height. Couldn’t have it in my house though as we are S facing and would bake. The cat is also gorgeous! The cabinets, though beautifully made, you can keep. I prefer drawers. I’d ditch the old style tap for a more practical level mixer. And brick as a splashback would be hard to keep clean. It does all look gorgeous but not the most practical.

The lack of bench space, and I'm not sure which category of the poll that fits into. Layout maybe, since we'll need to move things around to make it work. Our kitchen is enormous, but it's all storage - one whole wall is floor to ceiling pantry-style cabinets. On the other all the stovetop and the sink take up a full half of the bench top, so there is just enough room for one chopping board and bowl on what's left when you are cooking. The crazy thing is, it's not even a tiny galley kitchen, but the space in between the two walls is only just big enough to squeeze an island in, so we are trying to decide between being cramped, or knocking down walls and completely remodelling. Can't quite bring ourselves to pull the trigger on the latter, though, as all the cabinets and cupboard are in great shape.

If there is a courtyard outside - then still I’d suggest replacing radiators with tall ones and then adding two steps right across the widest part of the under window - with space for plants or books on either sides of the steps and maybe a cushion for a window seat type effect perhaps ?

The gadget to the left of the toaster, looks like a cork opener and I think the bike picture looks fun in the kitchen. Not in awe of this in general

I'll steal the idea of sliding doors in the island. We're designing our kitchen and there's only 1 metre between the base units and island so not having doors opening into the space would be great. Also love the colour of the unit doors.

Seat Dreams upholstery. My friend had the same problem.. But on the island. They had a slimmer island built.. So wasn't
as wide as normal base units... So wish I could have taken photos... She had cupboard on one side and a slim shelf on the other for her cookery books. And just enough at the end to add a waste bin underneath... Compact.. neat. And much slimmer and worked so well..

The cupboards going right up to the ceiling. I hate the greasy dust that accumulates on the top of cupboards as much as I hate climbing up to clean them.

Stealing is wrong, but a little island takeover may be acceptable. You could holiday on that island. I'd have lights made in the same colour as the island, it's a great colour.
