What colour paint?

Posted a while ago about our kitchen and we recently tiled which I'm really happy with.

Now we want to paint as its a very thin layer of white - not sure whether to go for a light creamy type, a grey(could look cold) or an olive (too dark?) or a combo with a darker feature wall?

Large light kitchen - cream units, dark brown work top, tiles are a light grey, darker grey, teal and olive.

I like the warm beige at the top right of your tester colours. That will go very well with your tiles.

A complementary colour is the right way to go but it needs to be desaturated. The more 'blue' or 'green' a colour is, the more orange or red your brick will look, they accentuate each other. I would go for a grey that has a tinge of something such as French Grey or Light Grey.

Hi I definitely would not paint the walls in a site, black colour. The walls would then look ugly against the dark tarmac. You need a contrast and I would keep the walls the same colour as the house. I would introduce a bit of black to the top capping tiles on the pillars to echo the black strip on the bottom of the house

Hi I think something alone the line in a warmer neutral grey paint colour would work, like Farrow & Ball Purbeck stone no.275, Mole's Breath no. 276, or something more on the red tone, Farrow & Ball's London Clay no.244, or Brinjal no.222. Hi Sarah

I like the greens you chose, I would use those dark green to paint the wall behind the kitchen unit to create a sort of feature wall the will make the beautiful kitchen to stand out. I would use a lighter tint of green for the other walls to create a welcome cosy environment. I fear to use those green throughout the kitchen could make it smaller and darker.

Hi Sarah have you tried Dulux Egyptian Cotton? Think it would go very well.
