Hi LTS, are you changing the top windows in the existing house to match the windows in the extension? Personally, I don't like the small fan windows as the thickness of the frames blocks out the view too much. Your 1st picture with the symmetrical larger panes looks the best in my eyes (time stamped 22:23). As you've said, the larger frames still have both trickle vents and locking positions so the windows can be locked with a small air gap for circulation. We nearly went with these windows on our house, but decided to go for a single full opening window instead. we are very pleased with ours. I can upload a picture if you're interested. For the integrated blinds, do you mean the blinds that are inside the window/door glass? I looked at the too but didn't like them for the following reasons: The blinds take up a large amount of the window when they are stacked open. When the are lowered down but still open, the amount of light blocked was still quite high. The speed of movement of the blinds in the glass was quite slow. We will be using electric roller binds in the window reveal instead. It is possible to get blinds integrated into the folding door frames too. Hi Carolina, Yes, I'm not so fond of a leather couch anymore, find them too cold. if one is right then perhaps I could be persuaded. to be honest the storage furniture is more because I have a partner that likes everything hidden, and two young kids or it could just be specific features that i like from the pictures, i'm yet to see a picture that is my ideal living room. and the fires, I love a good rustic fire, so there's probably a lot of them saved! I do love the natural effect, I Love plants and have plenty unusual exotic succulents and cacti, Emmanuelle, thanks for the advise I learned that the hard way, the couch was a rushed decision swayed by the salesman, because we had a newborn - easy clean, quick delivery. which is why I am looking for inspiration now to get some idea of what I want so there isn't a mad dash to the shops for the first couch available. Yes you’re right about that Love your home bed, the wings are deeper than our wardrobes (which are half recessed) so if we had little shelf bedsides they’d be really hard to reach, we‘d have to sit up and reach around the wings. If I’m honest I don’t think we can face doing anything too complicated like false wall or moving the sockets to allow for the full width headboard! New lights.... maybe... husband is predictably Not Keen. So, I think that boils it down to the naturalmat Prideaux bed, in linen 😁 with the bigger headboard size if they will do that. I’m up for painting that section of wall though - we could either use the mid grey green shown on the door, or a much darker grey green (the mid is Blanket and the dark is Squid Ink, both Paint & Paper library). If we use the mid paint then the bed colour would be dark and vice versa. Linen curtains - need to look at all my samples in the room later on today! Not heard of vinterior, I will have a browse. 😁 Yes I hope the cat is real!

I like both. Maybe it depends on the style of the house and architecture. I prefer the modern one in the poll but maybe you could look at a more modern shaker or even a handleless shaker?
