Kitchen splash back

We need a splash back to span 4200 x 800mm which will encompass hob and sink. I'd really like this to be a single piece of glass. Does anyone know of suppliers who can make and deliver a piece this big?

Don't think you will get one piece that big would be very awkward to deliver and fit if you could. Could you not split it into 3 one piece for where the hob is and the other two each side of it.

I love your countertops and think you did a great job with this kitchen on a budget! Are you going for a bit of a statement...or maybe colour? Or hoping to stick to inky blue and white? The first image is a tile that would work with your colours and add a bit of a statement from here (https://www.ceramictilesupplies.co.uk/ceramic-tile-backsplash-ideas/). The second is an idea that would add a bit of warmth to your kitchen with wood effect tiles. And the third is a grayish colour to pick up a bit of grey from your countertop from here. White tile is a good option too but I get really picky about matching my whites...I think it could be tough to find a white tile that works perfectly with the white in your countertops and the white cabinets. But may give you some other ideas?

I agree with the builder, that work is shoddy and unprofessional and I would not be happy looking at that in my kitchen. It looks like a DIYer has completed it. In fact I call it a HUTH house! When I watch Homes Under the Hammer, often people buy a house and either do the work themselves or get their mates to refurbish and lots of them end up looking poorly finished for the low end rental market. Any chance that you could ask him to remedy the work though unlikely as you’ve already paid for it. Really sorry that this work was completed in this poor way.

Mirror splashbacks can make a small space look really cool between wall units and base units. Apart from the standard mirror silver you can get antiqued (is your kitchen style dictates this) or coloured glass such as copper/bronze. If you are not that keen at looking at yourself then a smoked grey is a great option for modern contemporary kitchens. Mirror splashbacks can be cut around sockets for that perfect look. Ensure behind your hob that you have toughend glass otherwise it could shatter with the heat from the hob. A simple upstand in the same material as your worktop say 75mm high is simple then use a washable paint for above for a simple look. Hope that helps
