Kitchen and colours

Hi

After sometime and work I still haven't chosen a colour for the kitchen. I've had work to open up the chimney breast and move the plumbing around, and I've laid some parquet flooring (which was such hard work). I've very happy with what the kitchen could be. I'm only having floor units from British Standard (I'll see how I go) and open shelving. The ceiling height is about 10ft, and wanted to keep the eye line clear

Details are

  • North facing
  • Three cupboards (890 pan draw, 1040 double, 800 sink for Belfast)
  • Really want dark units and thinking about F&B Railings as love the blueness of it.
  • American Fridge / Freezer will go in the alcove currently red
  • In the same area of the fridge a slim line pantry pull out (as seen on Houzz)
  • Chimney will have some metal sheeting just across where the opening is
  • In other bricked alcove either one of the units, and some open shelves
  • By the window I will be at some point creating a kind of banquette seating

Queries are

  • What colour for the walls. I'm thinking a F&B Cornforth White or Dimpse
  • What type worktop, I'm drawn to a quartzite (Blue iceberg) or a lighter granite. But have been thrown in the mix concrete. While I do like the look wonder whether too industrial
