have a dilemma what tiles to put above the induction stove to make it
Comments (3)You have such clean lines in that kitchen, that I can see why you are hesitating at adding a traditional tile treatment to that section of the wall behind your induction range top. I would take a different approach, keeping in mind the sleekness of the induction top as well as the rest of your kitchen. It looks as if you don't have a ventilation fan and that you're planning on putting a light over the induction top?? Regardless, I would put a framed mirror there which would reach from the back lip of the countertop up to the height of the top of your window, and as wide as the induction top. Having them the same width will make the mirror feel as if it's balancing off the induction top. The frame could be a metal finish perhaps. I would hang it off two supports so it will stay level, and it would be removable for intensive cleaning if required. Otherwise a quick spritz should keep it looking pretty good. If I were doing this, I would be working with my custom mirror company so I could get exactly the size I want and the right frame. The second photo below shows a piece of stainless steel that's been mounted on the wall. It's also very sleek looking, but I think it would be harder to keep clean than a mirror. Comments (11)@Laura took the words right from underneath my fingers. I was going to ask the depth and width of the area where the shelves currently are. I've just had a PAX installed and I LOVE IT. My configuration is Two sets of 2 x 100cm wide (236cm H) units with the Harvik doors. I had them shortened as my ceiling didn't allow for the full height hence why I picked the easily hackable Harvik. The easy option is 4 x 75cm units with sliding doors of course. In one of my units, the inside was wallpapered and has a standard shelf which my monitor rests on and a pull out shelf directly below it that I use as a desk. I even have power in there so the cables are neat. the Pax really are an outstanding solution. A word of advice though to avoid extra expense and wasted time, especially if you are having someone install them; check them as soon as they arrive as the units can be damaged Good luck and pictures please :)...See MoreWhat door style do you like best out of our new Composite door range?

Comments (1)I have a large crumpet sofa and it is the most comfortable sofa I have set on. Unless you get tall legs, the sofas are very low to the ground which my mother hates but was not an issue for me until I got pregnant. I love the sofa....See More- 10 years ago
