What colour curtains for teal walls?
Comments (17)Hi there, As others suggest, what about mustard? This picture shows blue walls and a pop of yellow for the chair and it really makes the room sing. Alternatively, why not run with your idea of a soft grey? This picture pulls together lots of colours you've already got going on - the red in your sofa will work well. You could always layer Roman blinds and curtains together as pictured to soften the overall effect. Best of luck with your project, Zoe...See MoreTeal Walls - Combinations for Sofa and Wallpaper
Comments (3)Minnie and Grouse suggest sofas maybe in a corner sofa left side on top photo in a light grey chenile fabric with cushions in different shades of teal and navy perhaps and different textures would not use a busy pattern as floor has a patterned fnish or keep it simple the odd cushion. The curtains in a natural grey linen full length with roman blinds in darker shade of grey. Perhaps a grey rug too. A floor standing light in far left corner behind a corner sofa unit would give you a different light source and be great at night for more ambience. A very large mirror on left wall would make the room feel twice as big and add more light. A must is side tables either side of sofa end for coffees and drinks. Good luck!...See MoreA Study (sofa) in Teal
Comments (30)Last night we finished most of the decorating, just a few snagging bits to do. So we decided to play. :) We put the Ikea grey cabinet together and reassembled the office desks. I dug out another print I have had for years by Delauney and popped it on the fireplace, it looks as if it was made to be there! The coffee table is a one off by a local furniture maker from an off cut of sycamore. It's never looked right where we had it but in this room it's found a home. The mustard yellow blanket under it is to represent a rug, I think it works pretty well. More things to sort including taking the door off and planing the bottom as it's catching on the floor and putting up shelves to make a cat superhighway to a hidey hole on the built in cupboard but I really like how this is coming together now. View from the door. From the built in cupboard. From the window. Just wanted to say thanks again for all the response, ideas and encouragement. You guys are awesome....See MoreHelp with living room colours to go with DFS Zinc Teal Sofa please.
Comments (27)Ah, can't be sure, but it looks a lot like F&B Pitch Blue. Keep in mind that colours that you see online will most probably look very different in your home, because the light will be different. Also, photos are almost always manipulated, and all screens will give a slightly different image, so even if they mention which paint they've used, it might look different in real life. Best thing is to try a couple of colours out in your room, not smaller than A4 size really, to get a good idea of how it will look. Good luck...See MoreAmelia Wilson
