Ooo... Looks like you're going to crowd your living room with your furniture. Can you still swap the leather sofa for the one that goes with the teal one?

Hi KC, it does look like it might be a little crowded but as you've already bought the sofas you just need to work out the decor and limit any other furniture to open up the room. The sofa actually looks like a blue/grey to me as opposed to teal. If thats correct then Maritime Hush by Valspar might be a good paint choice. I've attached a moodboard I painted in this colour for another project. I picked this colour because it looks great with wood and leather and its a warm blue/grey not cold at all. It's hard to be sure without seeing the room but if the room is already quite light then I would actually consider painting it everywhere with alight ceiling, light woodwork and light binds in the window to contrast against the walls and sofa (curtains might make the space look cluttered). The leather sofa would look great against this colour and so would the fireplace. You can break up the walls with pictures, shelving etc. I notice its open plan into the next room so you could either continue the scheme for flow, or go a lighter shade to divide the spaces.

If you're taking out the divider walls then that will make a big difference - and don't worry about the sofa think about how comfy it will be!

That sofa definitely doesn't look teal to me - I absolutely love it - such an awesome style but it's more muted blue than teal.

Love the sofas- think they'll look great together! Grey works incredibly well with that shade of blue however nothing's stopping you from going for a very light blue/green as Period Property Store demonstrated. Don't forget that you can always buy sample pots and test out the colours on your wall first! We've attached some images to get your inspiration started. Happy decorating!

For something completely different, how,about dusty Suffolk pink on the lower half of the wall, and pale silver grey above? Pick out tones of each for cushions and throws.
