Hi Ellie, you have made a good decision on removing the wall. Your new bathroom will look much more spacious. We agree with you on creating a wet room in the right hand corner. It is much easier to install a concealed wetroom shower tray in the first floor, because in older family houses, the floor construction is usually wooden. The problem would be to fit a concealed shower tray into the concrete ground floor construction. So the installation in your case shouldn’t be a problem. We advise you to opt for bigger tiles, so that there is less grouting and therefore less likely for water leaking through over time. Hi Sarah, As you can see a square shower tray is going to work to much better than a rectangle shower tray. It is going to allow you much more space and open up the room. I would suggest keeping the base of the room light (tiles and paint), and then go ahead and incorporate darker shades. On the wall, where the sink sits, add a large mirror to enhance the space in the room, this is a simple and easy way to trick the eye into thinking a room is bigger than it is. A wall hung toilet and skin cabinet is going to increase the floor space of the room. From a decorative side of things I would recommend black framed glass around the shower, this is a substile dark colour introduction without over doing it, and the glass will still keep the room open. Thanks Kay the door is directly opposite the window wall, so the bath sits on the back wall with a large window above it and the toilet and the sink are on the right as you walk in. Maybe it is worth just putting the shower over the bath!

Option 1 seems easiest and best choice to me. Yes, it's not ideal to walk straight into toilet, but the room will work and it's a fairly standard bathroom layout.
