Kitchens are a big expense - especially the chairs so I would match them to the units - the set you showed matches the colours of the chairs with the units really well, BUT, 1. The pine top doesn't work and 2. You need to add a bit of pzaz to this space. You can paint or cover the pine top with whatever colours / textures you choose as accents then follow these colours through into the pictures and the odd accessory (but don't go mad and keep most of the kitchen utensils and tools in the same colour as the background so they 'disappear' - only use subtle accent colours on gorgeous items so they stand out). This way, if you get bored with your scheme you can just change the accessories and the table top colour rather than the whole lot. Feel free to email me for more help. Absolutely not !! We have a total ban on mobile phones around our dinner table when we are eating, and only when we're finished and I say that we can 'get down' do the kids then run into the sitting room and see if they've missed anything in the 20 minutes that they've not had some device stuck to their faces. Same goes for the TV as well. We do have the radio on, but in today's busy lifestyle it's the very few times that we can actually all sit down together and talk about what's been going on.

All of them are beautiful, and final choice would really depend on the interior style and look you would like to achieve. But to choose for now it will be Dark - Blackbone reclaimed oak table.

Hi @Laura G Please could you tell me how much clearance space you have from the wall to the dining table? I have a similar layout to yourself that I am building. I was considering a different orinentation but structural engineer/architect wouldnt allow once knocked through so decided it was best to sacrafice the side porch in favour of 1 wall kitchen. I'm going through a bit of a design dilemma at the moment preventing me from finishing the project, but actually everything seems to fit nicely for yourself.
