Hi Sonia, no actually the bedroom carpets are more of a warm taupe colour. They must just look grey on different screens! I’ve attached a couple of links after the pics for each carpet which might show a more accurate colour likeness. Edbury, below are pics of the sofa and rug in the living room, so I’m leaning more towards the Soft Truffle I think. From the Blue Hue Family. You can choose what Hue Families you want to work with, then which colours within those. Here are just a couple of examples. Each Hue Family contains blacks, whites, greys as well as the more colourful colours.

Does the carpet need replacing? I think it looks fine, but if your dad wants a change I would go for a lighter grey or a pale taupe, maybe. . With cushions, you could try dusky pink or dusky lilac, or yellow or a mixture as below. Go to Pinterest for more ideas, there are thousands of images in there.
