Comments (4)I think it depend on a couple of things- if this is stairs to under used space (guest rooms or office) then just get a light fitting on the landing that is inexpensive or have inset LED spotlights. If the stairs ascend to you master suite a feature chandelier might be nice- unless you have to use the landing at night to go to the loo in which case more subtle light might be nicer- consider LED lights to light the treads and the landing floor for a sultry ambiance and kinder to the eyes in the middle of the night....See MorePendant light spacing over 240cm x 100cm dining table
Comments (8)Hi we would consider the table size as this is the object you are lighting and framing and not the clock when setting out, we would recommend diving the pendant positions based on the centre of the light and the edge of the table: half equal, equal, half equal. I agree with the other comment that 3 would look better but if you would prefer 2, stick to these dimensions, so the first pendant would be positioned 60cm from the edge then 120cm to the next pendant then 60cm to the table edge. I hope that helps....See MoreKitchen island pendant lights
Comments (6)Hi. Yes, our first fix electrics are already in. Although, in theory, we should have been able to leave exact positioning until after the units were fitted (mid May), our ceiling is quite complicated: We have a hidden steel running down the centre of the room. So they have made special fixings in the ceiling, so that the pendants can still be fixed in the (hopefully!) best positions... We have one in the centre, then one equidistant between the centre and each end of the island. I think that should be ok. So they are about 750mm centres I think. They are slightly off centre, width ways, away from the hob side. Yes, too many big decisions. Not sure that I have made all of them right, but we are getting there. Current hold up are the bifolds, windows and doors. They are plaster boarding and plastering everything except for the reveals, but can’t finish or start the flooring until the windows are in. It’s giving me a bit longer to either about wall and kitchen cabinet colours 😱...See MoreDining Pendant Light Advice
