Pendant Lights in Kitchen
Comments (8)Hi Opun Team The teal blue will be going over the island/breakfast bar which is 2,7m x 1.6m and the cluster of three will be going over the dining table but not in the way shown in the picture (they will be a different heights and a bit closer together). The kitchen diner end of the room is 6.7m x 3.7m however the whole room is L shaped 8.6m width with bifolds . I will try and attach a plan. Thanks for taking the time to reply....See Morestairway lighting
Comments (4)I think it depend on a couple of things- if this is stairs to under used space (guest rooms or office) then just get a light fitting on the landing that is inexpensive or have inset LED spotlights. If the stairs ascend to you master suite a feature chandelier might be nice- unless you have to use the landing at night to go to the loo in which case more subtle light might be nicer- consider LED lights to light the treads and the landing floor for a sultry ambiance and kinder to the eyes in the middle of the night....See MoreLow ceiling - pendant lights over island
Comments (15)Wow Sarah that looks absolutely brilliant! Similar position as the lights in the link that Twyla sent look gorgeous but a bit over my budget (we're doing an extension and literally everything has come in over budget 😩) How lovely to make your own, I think I'm going to attempt it! Thank you very much for the detail on how to do it, very much appreciated! Hope IKEA still have the shades. Thank you everyone! ❤️...See MoreDesign dilemma - off centre pendant lights yes or no
Comments (3)One of my friends had a similar situation in his old house and normally the lighting being off centre would bug me just because I like the symmetry. However what he did was to position them so they were centred over his dining table instead which was in a similar position to where your green square is and it looked great. The fact they were in context with the furniture made the fact they weren't centred in the room a complete non-issue....See More- 9 years ago
