The central brick stairwell as been entirely redecorated as per the Chanel Apartment in Paris.

It's a really nice colour. You may need to go the next shade up as colours tend to be a couple of shades lighter on the exterior but it depends what you like. I'd get some testers. If you're painting directly on the wall you'll need to paint out some of the yellow with white otherwise it will distort the colour. Paint large samples using a min of 2 coats on each side of the house so you can see how it changes. I saw your comment on the other post earlier, I'm finally in the middle of having mine painted (3 years on!). I actually ended up going for F&B colours in the end but colour matched to Johnstones everywhere as it was just too dear other than for my front door which will be in LG.

I think in these situations you have to buy a 2.5L tin and paint it on. If you want to go darker then try Stirabout. I contains similar colours to SS but is deeper and a touch warmer. If you want to go lighter then it it's tricky as the magenta in Skimming Stone will make lots of colours look too yellow so All White is a good bet. My view with doing rooms is to look at the values and the temperature. If all the values are too similar it can feel flat and lack depth so a slab of dark contrast etc can help. Temperature is a physical sensation we feel when we enter a space and can relate to bad lighting, lack of natural light or using colours that makes us feel cold. It can also relate to too many shiny surfaces, so wood is always a good way of balancing things. Looking amazing though.
